This bill was released on August 22, 2018 as the fourth bill of the current release of bills. These bills have a consistent look and similar security features.

Previous bill:

On october 1, 1997, the swiss national bank introduced a CHF 200 bill for the very first time. They claim, this is the first bill world wide with tiny little holes in it. They serve as a security feature and appear as the number "200" which can be seen easily if one holds the bill against a light source. Another security feature is the micro imprint near the center of the front of the bill (see enlargment below).
