Things of Interest in Switzerland

[ Swiss horizontal ruler ]

This is a collection of web-addresses gathered in a database. It holds addresses of web sites of towns (such as Bern, Geneva or Zürich), municipalities or resorts (such as Davos, Les Diablerets or Zermatt), landmarks (such as the Engadina or mount Titlis) and much more.

We provide a simple search and an advanced search functionality, the later allows to narrow down searching by restricting your query to one or more cantons, lingual region, ZIP codes, population range, or elevation range.

For each "thing of interest", we hold the following information: Name, Web address, canton(s), lingual region(s), ZIP code(s), population (if appropriate), elevation (if appropriate), latitude and longitude as WGS-84 datum (if appropriate) and the location in relation to the Swiss grid (if appropriate).
See detailed explanation of the data items for more information.
